Is it mandatory to install server and Meeting Manager client in all Pcs to run Meeting Manager?
No, it is not mandatory.
i. SmartWorks server – this should have been installed on one PC on the network.
ii. Meeting Manager client – must be installed on all other PCs..

How do I configure my Meeting Manager client to connect to SmartWorks server?
SmartWorks clients will list the server(s) present on the network. User can choose the server name or can key in the server IP address or name in the combo box to connect to the required server.
General Information
I was invited for a meeting and I got a mail to that effect. However when I went to have a look at that in my meeting manager I was not able to see this meeting. Why?
Check whether your organization has multiple meeting projects and check out whether you have logged on to the correct one.
Can reminders be set for a meeting that has been already scheduled?
Yes, you can set reminders for yourself by clicking the set reminders icon that will be displayed in the meeting summary dialog box. A set reminders dialog box will be displayed and you can select the mode of reminders that you would prefer (mail or note) and the frequency at which you want to be reminded.
Why is the “set reminders” option always disabled when modify is clicked?
Meeting Manager allows you to set reminders while scheduling a meeting and it does not allow users to change reminder setting while modifying meetings.
Can I modify the confirmation to attend a meeting?
Yes, you can. Click on the “scheduled meetings” option of the to do list. Now, click on the meeting for which you wish to modify confirmation status. Double click on your User-id to get the modify confirmation status dialog box.
How can I set “action points” after meeting?
Double click on the meeting displayed in the calendar. In the meeting summary dialog box, click change status button. In the Change Meeting Status dialog box, double click on “to do after meeting” field of the user who attended the meeting to set Action point after meeting for that person.
Can I block myself so that I will not be available for meeting on a specific day?
This facility is not available in meeting manager.
I am not getting reminder notes for any meetings why?
Check whether reminders are set for your meetings· Please check if the Reminder client is running. If it is running it can be seen as a small icon in the system tray at the bottom-right corner of your PC. Please check whether 'Enable Mails' option is checked in SmartWorks server. If all these settings are correct and you are still not getting reminder notes, then please contact us by filling in the form at, http://www.smartworks.us/htm/prodsupport.htm
I have opened Meeting Manager; I can see a calendar view, what next?
To use Meeting Manager, you should have a user-id. Whenever you are added to a project user list you will be informed about the project ID and your user ID and password through e-mail. You can now login using the your user ID and password, (default password is same as user ID) to the project.
Schedule a meeting option is disabled for me, why?
Only a user with Organizer status has the privilege to schedule a meeting. Also you cannot schedule a meeting before current date.
I am not able to delete projects, why?
Only the administrator (SmartWorks admin) can delete a project.
I am not able to select two resources for the same meeting. An error message is being displayed saying “resource conflict “ why?
If you have attempted to select two resources, each specific to a room then there is a resource conflict. Each of these resources will be available only in the particular room that has been specified for it. So, if the two resources are specific to two different rooms, then both cannot be made available in any one particular room.
How do I modify action point status?
In the to do list, if you click on pending action list, you will get a list of the meetings for which you have confirmed your attendance. You can see your user ID with a tick mark indicating that, you have confirmed your status for attending the meeting. The action points assigned to be done before and after meeting will be displayed. Double click on it to get a modify action point status dialog box. Make the required changes and click on modify button.
Will I be notified if there is any change in already scheduled meeting?
Yes, a mail/note will be sent to you if anything (Agenda, time, duration etc) in a meeting is modified.
I do not get any display on clicking the pending action list in the to do list?
All the meetings for which you have been invited, will appear on your Calendar and TO DO list. But only for those meetings, for which you have confirmed your status by setting status as 'Will Attend', the action points if any, assigned to you, will be displayed in the pending action list.
Can I change the calendar? I.e. I have set holidays in Meeting Manager calendar. Now I want to change some of them into working days. How do I do it?
Click on options menu, set company calendar. In the calendar that appears, double click on the day that you want to change; you get a add/modify Holidays dialog box. Click the label ”clear all holidays for this day” and then click the button set.
